FAQ
Why are the cables much shorter than the listed length?
The cable length that is listed is the uncoiled length. This is an industry standard practice of measuring handset cords. So the 6 foot cable once coiled is only around 13 inches. The 12 foot cable's coiled length is 20 inches. The 25 foot cable's coiled length is 45 inches.
What is the difference between Standard Lead and Extended Lead?
The difference is the length of the flat (uncurled) leads at the end of the cord. Extended lead handset cords feature a 4 inch uncurled end. While a standard phone cord has a 1.5 inch uncurled end. The length you need depends on your phone. If you need to route the cable under the base of your phone then an extended lead will give you a longer uncurled end. Most customers use the 1.5 inch standard handset cord.
Will those handset cords fit my phone system?
Yes, all of these handset cords will fit your phone, even recessed phones. The connectors on a handset cord are a standard throughout the industry
